JIS X 8341-3:2016 (Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities - Information and communications equipment, software and services - Part 3: Web content)
JIS X 8341-3:2016 was drafted by the Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee (WAIC). Compliance with the standard is voluntary. However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications recommends that the public sector comply with this standard by using “Everyone’s Public Website Operational Guidelines (2016)”. -
Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities
The “Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities” enforced on April 1st 2016 also exists. However, it doesn't refer to “Everyone’s Public Website Operational Guidelines (2016)” and “JIS X 8341-3:2016” specifically. -
